Film Screening of “Juvies” and Panel Discussion with UnCommon Law

Join us for a screening of a “Juvies,” a documentary that follows the lives of children sentenced to prison as adults. Afterwards, staff and former clients of UnCommon Law will discuss the impact of incarceration on individuals, communities and the injustices embedded within the system. UnCommon Law represents people serving long prison sentences in their parole hearings and habeas petitions and engages in litigation and policy advocacy to address systemic discrimination in the criminal justice system. Light refreshments will be served.
