ElectHer at Berkeley Law

Sunday, March 11, 2018 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

ElectHer is a free half-day training to empower women to make an impact by running for office and managing political campaigns.  The  training is open to law students of all identities and will take place at Berkeley Law on Sunday, March 11, from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.

The training will be facilitated by Susannah Wellford, Founder and President of Running Start. Ms. Wellford received her J.D. from the University Virginia School of Law and worked for Hillary Clinton’s Health Care Task Force in the White House before founding two organizations to support women in politics. Ms. Wellford will instruct participants to examine their values, strengthen communication skills, and develop political strategies. In addition, the event will feature a panel of political leaders as well as a networking opportunity with the panelists.

The U.S. needs more women, women of color, and people from underrepresented communities in positions of power. ElectHer will give participants the tools and inspiration to run a campaign and win.

There are only 50 spots available for this incredible free training, so please RSVP here. Please contact berkeleylawelecther@gmail.com with questions or comments.
