Join us for a picnic and mutual support! We’ll meet just outside the law school to enjoy a break in the sun and discuss the public defense summer job process. This is a casual event with absolutely no suits, resumes, or lawyers involved. 2Ls and 3Ls will be available to discuss their application experiences. Anyone considering public defense, immigration, housing, family defense, and other direct service work next summer (regardless of your other plans) is welcome.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
