Critical Foundations Series: Feminist Jurisprudence

Thursday, October 22, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Is it just me, or…?

Nope, it’s not just you: the law, though magnificent, sometimes reproduces patriarchy, white supremacy, privilege, blind spots, and normative boundaries to equity.
Join us for Critical Foundations, a lecture trio that helps you identify exclusionary problems in the law and imagine alternatives. We focus on the foundations of critical legal thought:
  • 10/8 Sociology of Law w/ Prof. Jonathan Simon
  • 10/22 Feminist Legal Theory w/ Prof. Kathy Abrams
  • 10/29 Critical Race Theory w/ Prof. Khiara Bridges
