Climate Change and Community Energy Resilience

Tuesday, March 30, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As we go through ever-more apocalyptic climate events like the 2020 wildfires, communities and utilities (sometimes together and sometimes at odds) are working to adapt infrastructure and responses to a rapidly changing climate. Please join the Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative and Students for Economic and Environmental Justice in a panel moderated by Berkeley Law’s own Heather Lewis, featuring Amee Raval, APEN’s Senior Policy Researcher, and Steve Campbell, GRID Alternative’s Senior Manager for Business and Policy Development, who will discuss our current energy landscape and the opportunities and possible pitfalls in adapting to a new world. Please come with your questions–time will be reserved for Q&A at the end. Zoom link: https://berkeley.zoom.us/j/97079609206?pwd=bmFiOVNwYW4vMFIzRmZYeEh3M0huUT09.
