CLEE Lunch & Learn: Changes in Environmental Review: California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Wednesday, October 22nd 1:00 - 2:00 p.m Location: Law School Classroom 105 2299 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720 Changes in Environmental Review: This panel discussion will delve into the significant changes impacting environmental review, particularly within the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Legal practitioners will share insights into how these evolving statutes affect their daily practice, explore the practical implications of CEQA's current changes, and understand the ongoing challenges to NEPA, a procedural cornerstone. Join us to learn what these shifts mean for energy and environmental law practice areas. Panelists: Scott Birkey, J.D. '00, Cox Castle Letitia Moore, J.D. '89, Holland & Knight Joseph "Seph" Petta, J.D. '12, Shute Mihaly Moderator: Louise Bedsworth, M.S. '97; Ph.D. '02, Center for Law, Energy & the Environment Lunch provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is free, but required.
