Civil Liberties and the FBI: ACS Book Talk with Mike German

Wednesday, October 2, 2019 @ 12:50 pm - 2:00 pm

Join the American Constitution Society (ACS) to learn more about the “unsettling contemporary history of the FBI and a bold call for reform” from Mike German, a fellow with the Liberty and National Security program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School. Mr. German formerly worked at the ACLU and served sixteen years as an FBI special agent. He left the FBI in 2004, and has since become a leading whistleblower on issues of civil liberties within the agency. He is the author of Disrupt, Discredit, and Divide: How the New FBI Damages Our Democracy (The New Press). Mr. German will be joined in conversation about his new book with Dr. Larry Rosenthal, the Chair and Lead Researcher for the Berkeley Center for Right-Wing Studies. Lunch will be served!

Purchase the book from IndieBound, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon.
