Event Navigation
Interested in spending the summer working on death penalty cases in the South?
The Keta Taylor Colby (KTC) Southern Internship Program was created in 2001 as a response to the crisis in capital representation in the American South. The program is run by USF Law School and sends dedicated, capable, and well-trained students from UC Berkeley Law and USF to its partner offices in the South to spend a summer working with capital defense attorneys. During their summer internship, students make real contributions to their clients’ cases through research and writing, mitigation investigation, and interviews with their clients, witnesses, and jurors.
To learn more, join this information session hosted by USF Law and the CDO.
This program is intended for 1L and 2L JD students. 1Ls are encouraged to attend and eligible to apply for the KTC summer internship program!
Lunch will be served. Please RSVP here(opens in a new tab) to let us know that you plan to attend (food orders are placed 48 hours in advance and include meat and vegetarian options).
