OSCAR is the primary federal clerkship hiring portal. Access to OSCAR for the class of 2027 begins on January 20, 2026. This program will walk students step-by-step through creating an OSCAR account, finding open positions, and using OSCAR as a critical judge/clerkship research tool. 2Ls interested in federal clerkships are strongly encouraged to attend and learn the fundamentals of OSCAR well before the Federal Hiring Plan start date of June 8, 2026.
