[CDO] 1L Launch: Your Professional Toolkit

Regardless of your career path, this “professional toolkit” program, presented by CDO Attorney-Counselors, will lay the foundation for successful career exploration during your 1L year and beyond. In this program, we will cover how to assess your skills and interests to support your career research and goals. We will also cover how to research legal employers, including how to incorporate CDO’s organized networking programs into your research plans. Finally, we will cover the basics of how to communicate professionally and effectively, from email etiquette to networking conversations, so that you can make the most out of your professional interactions.
This program is intended for all 1L JD Students.
Lunch will be served. Please RSVP here to let us know that you plan to attend (food orders are placed 48 hours in advance and include meat and vegetarian options).
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
