Monday, April 6, 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation
Join the American Constitution Society on Monday, April 6, in Room 140 for a fireside chat with Paige Herwig, a former senior White House counsel at the heart of the Biden Administration’s effort to reshape the federal judiciary. Herwig participated in the vetting, selection, and preparation of well over 100 Article III judges during her time in the Office of White House Counsel, including preparing now-Justice Jackson for her confirmation hearings. During her tenure, the Biden Administration shepherded a record number of public defenders, civil rights attorneys, and labor lawyers to federal courthouses across America. This conversation will explore the often opaque judicial nominations process, drawing on Herwig’s extensive experience in this area.
When: Monday, April 6, 1-2pm
Where: Room 140
