BIG Week! Berkeley Immigration Group Bake Sale

Berkeley Immigration Group (BIG) will be having a bake sale and candygram sale from 2/13 (Mon.)-2/16 (Thur.) from 12 PM - 3 PM in East Courtyard (by Cafe Zeb). In honor of Black History Month, the bake sale is a fundraiser for the Black Immigrants Bail Fund. Black  immigrants are systematically subject to higher bond amounts and immigration bonds must be paid in full unlike criminal system bonds. Contributions to the bail fund will help people get out of immigration detention and improve their chances of winning their immigration court case by approximately 8 fold.
