Berkeley Law Alternative Service Trips (BLAST) Info Session

Berkeley Law Alternative Service Trips (BLAST) sends students across the country to provide free legal services during Spring Break (March 22-30). Students work alongside grassroots legal services agencies, gaining insight into the ways these organizations adapt their work to the unique challenges and needs of their respective communities. Students can expect to work on issues affecting the environment, immigration, housing, criminal justice system and more. Time Commitment: bi-weekly meetings and 40+ hours during Spring Break."

Come to Steinhart Courtyard and meet current leaders of Berkeley Law Alternative Service Trips (BLAST), an organization that sends students across the country to provide free legal services during Spring Break (March 22-30). Students work alongside grassroots legal services agencies, gaining insight into the ways these organizations adapt their work to the unique challenges and needs of their respective communities. Students can expect to work on issues affecting the environment, immigration, housing, criminal justice system and more. BLAST will travel to Alaska, Atlanta, Kentucky, the Central Valley of California, Montana, and the U.S./Mexico border. Time Commitment: bi-weekly meetings and 40+ hours during Spring Break.
