Berkeley Law Conversations: Race & Legal Education

As we begin the school year at a time of needed national attention to race, it is appropriate and necessary to focus on what we do: legal education. Berkeley Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky hosts a panel to discuss issues concerning race and legal education.

Speakers include:

  • Abbye Atkinson, Assistant Professor of Law 
  • Ray Durham, Co-President, Student Association of Berkeley Law
  • Ian Haney López, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Public Law
  • Serena Nichols, Editor-In-Chief at Berkeley Journal of African American Law & Policy
  • Russell Robinson, Walter Perry Johnson Professor of Law
  • Kristin Theis-Alvarez, Dean, Admissions and Financial Aid
