Legal Research and AI: The Case of Casetext
Artificial intelligence is changing the practice of law as it is every other sector. Hear from Casetext, a leading developer of AI-enabled legal research tools, how technology is changing the way lawyers work.
Katherine Van Hest, head of academic relations at Casetext, joined as the 9th team member and created a student ambassador program that has been key in establishing Casetext as a new legal research platform with 55 law schools including Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, and so on. Prior to joining Casetext, she has worked as an associate in the Law Offices of Norman J. Fine, P.C.
The BCLT/BTLJ Law & Tech Speaker Series features local practitioners, bringing real world experience and practical legal knowledge to Berkeley Law students.
Lunch is served for students staying for the entire presentation.
