From Law Student To Trial Lawyer: The Associate’s Role In Complex IP Cases And Trials
We will discuss how to transition from being a law student to being an associate, as well as how to get the opportunities to work on and succeed in high-stakes and complex IP cases as a junior and mid-level associate.
Brett Sanford is an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Sandford’s practice focuses on patent litigation and other areas of intellectual property litigation for clients in the computer security, networking, electronics, network switching, software, memory, and semiconductor industries.
Clara Wang is a litigation and trial associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins. She represents life sciences companies in complex intellectual property litigation.
The BCLT/BTLJ Law & Tech Speaker Series features local practitioners, bringing real world experience and practical legal knowledge to Berkeley Law students.
