Join UC Berkeley in San Francisco for an intimate discussion of the critical issues, technologies, and policies driving financial fraud around the world. The one-day program is designed for Finance professionals and attorneys who want to explore the latest issues, technologies, and policies driving financial fraud around the world.
Program Topics Include:
Keynote Conversations– Intimate conversations with Jim Chanos (famed short seller and founder of Kynikos Associates), Diana Henriques (author of The Wizard of Lies), and Tom Wright (author of Billion Dollar Whale).
Screening of The Inventor– Private screening of the upcoming HBO documentary The Inventor (on Theranos and founder Elizabeth Holmes). We will also be joined by John Carreyrou, author of Bad Blood.
Defining and Investigating Fraud– An exploration of the tools of today and tomorrow and how experts are using new strategies to define and uncover fraud.
Fraud and the Media – Leading voices from media, academia, and industry explore the public coverage of financial fraud.
