Friday, October 16, 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Event Navigation
In this workshop, the ASP team will go beyond IRAC and address other common question types on law school exams. First, we will decode multiple choice questions, discussing strategies for eliminating wrong answer choices, avoiding distractors, and spotting the “best” answer choice.
Then, we will demystify policy questions, walking through examples and providing a framework for crafting responses.
This workshop is ideal for students looking to round out their exam prep toolkit beyond traditional issue-spotters. Walk in curious, leave strategic.
All J.D. and LL.M. students are welcome to attend. A variety of snacks will be provided!
This workshop will be offered twice, on Tuesday, October 13, and Friday, October 16. It will not be recorded, but we would be happy to meet with you if you cannot attend or have questions. You can schedule a meeting here: BerkeleyLawASP.as.me. The slides are posted on the ASP website.
