Join us for a conversation with Rebecca Berry,  head of People and Culture at local nonprofit Root and Rebound, as she breaks down how she makes old, biased systems that weren’t made for her clients work for them anyway.  One might call this feat of real-world expertise and non-legal creativity magic.

Prior to joining R&R, Berry helped oversee a national, legal direct service help line at Equal Rights Advocates in San Francisco. She was also an If/When/How Lawyering for Reproductive Justice Fellow at the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI), a national organization based in Washington, DC. She holds a JD from the University of Southern California.
