Event Navigation

Join the Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice for a discussion and book signing on Abortion and Reproductive Justice: An Essential Guide for Resistance by Marlene Gerber Fried and reproductive justice founding mother, Loretta J. Ross moderated by Prof. Khiara M. Bridges, co-sponsored by ACCESS Reproductive Justice, Women’s Health Specialists, and the Center on Race & Gender.
In the wake of Roe’s overturning — and the surge of threats to abortion and bodily autonomy driven by white supremacy, anti-immigrant hatred, and rigid gender norms — activists of color are leading the fight for reproductive freedom. Movement leaders Marlene Gerber Fried and Loretta J. Ross trace the history of abortion politics through a reproductive justice framework that centers the most vulnerable in a bold call to action and a practical guide for building an inclusive, intersectional movement.
