27th Annual BTLJ-BCLT Symposium: From the DMCA to the DSA—A Transatlantic Dialogue on Online Platform Liability and Copyright Law
Friday, April 7, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
Event Navigation
At this, the 27th Annual BTLJ-BCLT Symposium, we are fortunate and very excited to present:
- a special tutorial session led by five expert European participants who will explain the many features of the DSA
- a leading European Council official delivering the opening keynote
- expert panelists discussing the implications of the DSA for copyright enforcement
This year’s symposium will feature scholars, policymakers, and industry participants from both sides of the Atlantic assessing the ramifications of the shift to a more regulatory approach with a particular focus on copyright. Is a new US/EU consensus possible in the wake of the EU’s departure from notice and takedown? How will the “Brussels Effect” influence ongoing digital copyright and platform regulation policy debates in the United States?
This is a conference you really need to attend!
CLE will be offered.
