2025 California Water Law Symposium

The California Water Law Symposium is a collaborative student-run event that consistently brings together leading minds in water law to discuss California’s critical water issues. The symposium is led this year by UC Berkeley School of Law. Participant law schools include McGeorge School of Law, UC Law San Francisco, UC Berkeley School of Law, Stanford Law School, and UC Davis School of Law. This all-day event features panels covering Wastewater Reuse for Potable Water, Tribal Sovereignty and Stewardship of California’s Aquatic Ecosystems, Tulare Lake Litigation, and Drinking Water Management Regimes. There will also be a Keynote lunch talk given by Laurel Firestone, founder and director of Community Water Center and current State Water Resources Control Board member.
