Anthony Braga is Senior Research Fellow at the Chief Justice Earl Warren Institute on Law and Soical Policy, a Senior Research Associate and Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Professor in the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University. His research focuses on developing problem-oriented policing strategies to prevent gang violence, disrupt illegal gun markets, and address violent crime hot spots.  Braga is the Chief Policy Advisor to the Boston Police Commissioner.  He has served as a consultant to numerous police departments including Los Angeles, New York and Baltimore as well as the National Academy of Sciences and the U.S. Department of Justice.  Braga was a Visiting Fellow at the U.S. National Institute of Justice and teaches in the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police.
