Renee Brown
Renee DuBord Brown currently serves as Senior IP Counsel for Motorola Mobility. She previously worked at Tessera Intellectual Property Corp. as Senior Vice President of Litigation. Prior to going in-house, Renee was a partner in private practice at Day Casebeer Madrid & Batchelder LLP and Howrey, LLP. Renee’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property counseling and litigation, with an emphasis on patent cases. Her experience also includes IP-related antitrust litigation, trademarks/copyrights, false advertising and trade secrets. She also has strong expertise in patent reexamination, and previously worked as a patent prosecutor. Renee is a former clerk for the Honorable Raymond C. Clevenger, III on the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. She has a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and a B.S./M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from M.I.T. She is admitted to the California bar, and is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
