Tim Porter
Tim Porter is a Senior Patent Counsel at Google, where he works on a wide range of patent issues including patent portfolio development, patent aquisitions and licensing, risk mitigation and strategic patent policy. Prior to joining Google, Tim worked as Senior Patent Counsel for Symyx Technologies, Inc., a publicly-traded company that provided research services, tools and software to companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and was a Principal of Fish & Richardson, P.C. Tim received his law degree from Boalt Hall Law School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and served as a judicial law clerk to Circuit Judge H. Robert Mayer, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
