Clinic Director Deirdre Mulligan put forth an article entitled Enforcing Privacy Rights Symposium 2002 “Introduction,” which was published in the Hastings Law Journal. The article discusses the 2002 Enforcing Privacy Rights Symposium, which discussed privacy concerns in the post-9/11 world. After the 2001 terrorist attacks, privacy concerns were shifted to U.S. responsiveness to external threats. The symposium discussed current privacy enforcement, and whether individual privacy in protected by statutory protections.
