Congratulations to the 2024-2025 International Law Certificate honorees, pictured here with their Berkeley Law Faculty mentors! The names of the awardees can be found below.
Berkeley Law students may undertake a specialization in international law. The specialized curricular program ensures students develop a broad background in fundamental areas of law while receiving advanced training in international law. Students who meet the requirements are awarded a Certificate of Specialization in International Law at the end of their graduating year. The deadline to apply is April 1.
Enrolled Berkeley Law students who wish to earn the Certificate must complete the requirements, including taking International and Comparative Law classes at Berkeley Law, as well as writing a substantial paper on international or comparative law. For the first time, the foundational International Law course will be offered in both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Learn more by visiting the Miller Institute’s dedicated page about this opportunity.
