Each fall, the Berkeley Law Career Development Office and Field Placement Program, along with the Public Interest Working Group, host the Public Interest/Public Service (PI/PS) Career, Internship, and Pro Bono Fair. We are excited to offer Berkeley Law students this opportunity to meet public interest and public sector attorneys in person.

2023 Fair

  • Wednesday, October 18
  • 12:30 – 2:00 PM (Pacific time)
  • In-Person, at the Heyman Terrace and West Courtyard
  • Questions: Contact Deep Jodhka or Sue Schechter.

Come meet public interest and public sector attorneys from more than 70 Bay Area (& beyond!) organizations and agencies in-person! The PI/PS Fair is an opportunity for students to network and talk with organizations about summer employment, academic year placements, pro bono work, and other career opportunities. This Fair will be an in-person, table-talk format.

For networking tips and sample questions to ask, view our public interest career/table talk tips.

Please email Deep Jodhka (dkjodhka@berkeley.edu) or Sue Schechter (sue@berkeley.edu) with any questions about this event, including information for organizations about how to register.

Students will receive an email with more information about a week prior to the event.
