Summer Fellowships

How can I make $5000 this summer?

You can make up to $5000 this summer by applying for funds from the Berkeley Law PIPS Summer Fellowship as well as from other sources (2Ls may apply for other funds up to a total of $6000 including Berkeley Law monies). (Click here to find out how the funding cap and the “banking” option work.)

Berkeley Law Student Organization Fellowships. Several student organizations award summer fellowships, including the Berkeley Law Foundation; the Queer Caucus; the Boalt Hall Women’s Association; the Ecology Law Quarterly; and the Boalt Hall Committee for Human Rights. Most organizations use the same application and deadline — typically April 1 — that are used for the Berkeley Law PIPS Summer Fellowship Program.  For more information, contact these student organizations directly.

The best resource for identifying external funding opportunities is PSJD, where you can search for Summer Funding Resources.
