Eva Paterson ’75, founder and president of the Equal Justice Society is the featured keynote speaker at today’s Women’s Leadership Forum titled Finding Common Ground: Uniting Women through Personal Development.
The forum is slated to focus on the challenges women leaders face in the legal profession, such as balancing work and family, confronting discrimination in the workplace, developing a powerful network of women, establishing mentorship relationships with other professional women, and managing finances.
Registration begins at 12:15 pm in Boalt’s Goldberg Room, followed by Paterson’s keynote remarks, a presentation on practical skills by Life Coach Claudia L’Amoreaux and panel discussions on alternative career paths, personal financial planning, overcoming obstacles in the workplace, and personal financial planning. The event is capped off by a wine and cheese networking hour.
This collaborative event is cosponsored by numerous student groups, including the American Constitution Society, APALSA, BHSA, BJALP, boalt.org, the Environmental Law Society, KALSA, LSAD, Law Students for Choice, La Raza, Boalt Muslim Association, NALSA, Queer Caucus, SALSA, Students Opposing Domestic Violence (STOP DV) and the Boalt Hall Women’s Association.
