On Wednesday, April 13, UCLA Professor Seana Shiffrin presented the annual Kadish lecture, “The Divergence of Promise and Contract.” Boalt Professors Melvin Eisenberg and James Gordley provided commentary following the talk.
Professor Shiffrin holds a joint appointment with the law school and the department of philosophy at UCLA. She teaches Contracts, Constitutional Rights and Individual Autonomy, as well as seminars on legal theory, distributive justice and gender. Her research focuses on ethics and political and legal philosophy.
