Mark Pécheck ’84 and Alisa Nave ’04 have been named recipients of prestigious awards from the University of California, Berkeley Foundation (UCBF), in recognition of their outstanding service to Boalt Hall fundraising campaigns. Pécheck, chair of the 2004 Reunion Campaign, will receive the Trustees’ Citation and Nave, co-chair of the Class of 2004 Campaign, will receive the Young Bear Award at a UCBF ceremony on February 10, 2005.
A former Boalt Hall Alumni Association (BHAA) board member who led the law school’s successful 2004 Reunion Campaign, Pécheck is a partner in the Los Angeles firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Now a law clerk to U.S. District Court Chief Judge Philip M. Pro in Las Vegas, Nave was the co-president of the class of 2004, a former student representative to the BHAA and a leader of a class campaign that broke previous records for student participation. Pécheck and Nave are among 23 volunteers, chosen from throughout the Berkeley campus, who will be honored at the February event for distinguished volunteer achievements.
