Harriet McBryde Johnson spoke on Thursday, April 28 about her new book, Too Late to Die Young: Nearly True Tales from a Life, in Booth Auditorium at 4 p.m. In her book, Johnson describes the impact of her physical disabilities throughout her life.
Johnson practices law in Charleston, South Carolina. She has been a sociology professor, freelance writer and editor, and a community organizer. She is currently serving as chair of the Democratic Party in the city of Charleston.
