Berkeley Law is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to all students with disabilities. Such accommodations are designed and implemented in consultation with the U.C. Berkeley Disabled Students’ Program (DSP).

If you think you will require accommodations in the form of equipment, services, or modifications to the law school’s academic program, please contact DSP as soon as possible to discuss your needs. You will be required to provide documentation of your disability so that a DSP specialist can review the information and recommend appropriate accommodations. We advise you to provide DSP with all necessary documentation well in advance of the fall semester so that accommodations can be arranged before classes begin on Monday, August 19, 2019. Please contact DSP directly at (510) 642-0518 or (510) 642-6376 TTY, or visit their website at http://dsp.berkeley.edu to find out exactly what form the documentation must take and how recent it must be.

Once DSP has made an accommodation recommendation, you should contact our office to arrange a meeting to discuss your accommodations. Ideally, this meeting will take place during the first two weeks of the semester. In the interim, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about disability accommodations at the law school. You can reach Kyle Valenti, Senior Director of Student Services, at (510) 642-3263.

Have an enjoyable summer! We look forward to meeting you in August.
