Jewish Family and Children’s Services
Applicants must be accepted to a college, university, vocational school or other accredited institution and be Jewish residents of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin or Sonoma Counties for one year prior to applying. Loans are available, as well as some grants between $1000 and $1500. Application is available online.

JVS Scholarship Fund
The JVS Scholarship is available to Jewish students with verifiable financial need who are legal and permanent residents of Los Angeles County. Primary criterion for scholarship selection is financial need. Jewish community involvement and community service are also considered. Financial need is verified by federal income tax returns. A personal interview is necessary for eligible new applicants. All applicants are required to file a “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA) in January. Scholarship applications will be available on January 4.
