Courses are offered May through August during the four quarters of our summer term.

Quarter 1: May 23 – June 9
Quarter 2: June 14 – June 30
Quarter 3: July 5 – July 21
Quarter 4: July 26 – August 11

Courses vary from 1-3 weeks in long. Courses are modular and intensive, which means classes meet for more hours per week than a standard academic year course.

PLE participants can choose to attend the following courses offered in our summer LL.M. professional track program, ranging from business to IP, international to environmental law, and more, taught by Berkeley Law faculty.

NOTE: “Section” numbers indicate the same course offered at different times. Participants should not enroll in more than one section of the same course.

Visit Berkeley Law’s LL.M. Summer Schedule of Classes for detailed course descriptions.

*PLE participants attend on a non-degree basis (not matriculated). They do not get academic credit, take a final exam, or receive a grade or an official UC Berkeley transcript
