Our LL.M. students add so much to the diversity and vitality of our community. We are all so pleased to announce the following program options that allow us to support our students who wish to start, further, or complete their LL.M. studies at Berkeley Law in 2020-21. We remain committed to providing an excellent legal education to every student participating in our LL.M. program.

Fully remote summer 2020 LL.M. program

I am delighted to announce that our LL.M. professional track and hybrid option programs [now rebranded together as the LL.M. executive track] will be continuing this summer through remote instruction. Thanks to the efforts of the Advanced Degree Programs staff and the dedication of our faculty, this summer we will be able to offer via Zoom a full suite of courses on business law, intellectual property law, and areas of law tested on the bar exam. We will also provide engaging opportunities for our students to network with each other and to participate in the intellectual life of the law school through streaming talks and events.

Expanded options for 20-21 academic year LL.M.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Berkeley Law is providing our entering academic year students with 4 program options to better meet their educational needs. Students may choose to start this fall and finish their degree in spring 2021, as is the typical academic year schedule.

Additionally for this year, we are giving students the options to start their program in spring 2021 and finish in summer 2021 by enrolling in our LL.M. executive track courses; or start in spring 2021 and finish in fall 2021. Students may also choose to defer to fall 2021.
