Law & Technology

The Technology Law curriculum is built around courses in Intellectual Property, Information Privacy Law and Entertainment Law.  Our top-ranked Intellectual Property program includes a unique first-year elective Introduction to Intellectual Property, core classes in patent law, copyright law, trademark law and trade secret law and a variety of specialized advanced classes taught by our preeminent regular faculty and an adjunct faculty of leading practitioners. Students can earn a certificate in Law and Technology, participate in the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and the Law and Technology writing workshop and learn practice skills in the Samuelson Law Technology and Public Policy Clinic.
