Research Assistants for Professors Kenneth Bamberger and Deirdre Mulligan - Fall 2014

Professors Bamberger and Mulligan are seeking several research assistants to take on meaningful work involving information privacy, law, and technology. Projects involve, among other things, work comparing the US and Europe, work at the intersection of copyright and privacy, and work on technology in administrative decisionmaking.

Please contact Professor Bamberger at kbamberger@law.berkeley.edu with a cv/transcript and description of interest, noting relevant experience (writing and editing; classes in IP, Privacy, and Administrative Law; interdisciplinary training).

Research Assistants for Professor Jennifer Urban - Fall 2014

Professor Urban is seeking several research assistants this semester for a project related to copyright and Internet takedown regimes, patent, privacy, and surveillance. Several projects are collaborative with other faculty at Berkeley Law and elsewhere. Some projects are empirical and data-driven, some are theoretical or doctrinal, and some are both! As such, familiarity with statistical approaches, critical theory, and/or economic theory might be beneficial but by no means required.

Please send resumes to Brianna Schofield at bschofield@law.berkeley.edu.
