Housing

Finding a place to stay in Berkeley
Finding housing in Berkeley is always a challenge. However, you should keep in mind that most visitors to the Law School willing to spend a week or two of serious effort are able to find housing. Unfortunately, the Law School does not have the resources to help visitors look for places to live. If you know the dates you will be in Berkeley, please contact the University's Housing Office at 510/642-3644 or their website at calrentals.housing.berkeley.edu. The Housing Office can arrange to fax to you a list of available rental units. They also offer advice about the different types and location of housing in Berkeley. There is a small fee for this service. There are also other local housing services that provide similar services.

Some recent visitors have successfully found housing using a free, local website at www.craigslist.org
