Teaching Evaluations
We are very pleased to welcome you to this site, which offers current students the teaching evaluations of the Boalt faculty from Spring 1997 to the present. Our faculty has made these evaluations available to help you choose your elective courses.
Teaching evaluations are one of the many resources that can assist you in making informed decisions about the courses you take. In selecting your courses, we encourage you to consult the course descriptions and faculty profiles (which include information about each faculty member's educational and professional background, as well as publications) also available on this website. When available, course webpages, course syllabi and other resources are made available.
You can get more information about teaching evaluations procedures elsewhere on the site.
Because the information contained in the evaluations is protected under state employment laws, we can post this information only with each faculty member's consent. The consenting faculty members have agreed to post this information for current students only, and only in the current form and only on this website. For that reason, the information is password protected. Any wider distribution of this information, including but not limited to re-posting or distributing part or all of the information in a different format, would be a violation of the Honor Code and the UC Berkeley Code of Student Conduct.
Clicking on the link below will redirect you to an authentication page where you must log in with your CalNet ID and passphrase. For detailed information about the results for a particular question on the evaluation form, try clicking on the small graph icon next to the mean response. We hope these evaluations serve as a valuable tool as you make your course selections.
