Lesson 6: Adding Pictures

Step 1: Adding a Picture

1. Make sure that your Objects Toolbar has the Common buttons displayed. If it is still displaying the Invisible icons or anything else, click on the black arrow on top and choose "Common" from the resulting dropdown.

2. Place the cursor where you want the picture to be inserted, in this case, in front of the Federal Statutes header on the very top.
3. Click on the Insert Image icon (the one with the tree) on the Objects Toolbar.

4. A window will pop up, asking you to choose the image you want to insert. Find the image "library.gif" – it should be located where the other files that also came from the walkthrough.zip file are. Click on the file and click Select.
5. The image will now be placed in front of the header. To make the header align vertically in the center of the picture, click on the picture and select "Absolute Middle" from the Align dropdown on the Toolbar.

6. Your header should now look like this:
