Lesson 2.1: Introduction to the Toolbar

That Thingy on the Left

The toolbar on the left (known by Dreamweaver as the "Objects Toolbar") will become very useful when you want to start doing a bit more advanced options, such as adding pictures and tables. It also contains shortcuts to some very advanced options, like Shockwave and Flash, which we won't be covering in this tutorial.

Here is what your toolbar looks like and what each button is for. (We will only be covering those sections of the toolbar highlighted by the blue arrow; the other features are more advanced and are not commonly used when creating a basic webpage.)
