Lesson 2.2: Inserting Pictures and Adding Horizontal Rules

To Add Pictures

To add pictures to your site, first make sure that the picture you want to use is located in your web directory.

Next, click on the Insert Image button on the toolbar. The insert image button looks like this:

After you click on the button, click on the name of the picture you want to insert and click Select. If you want a preview of the picture to appear before you choose it, click on the "Preview Images" checkbox at the bottom and a preview will appear to the right.

Now the picture will appear on your page.

To Add Horizontal Rules

Horizontal rules are used to divide information up in a mainly one-paged site. A horizontal rule looks like this:

To insert a horizontal rule, simply click on the horizontal rule button. The horizontal rule button is on your toolbar and looks like this:
