Terrence Galligan
Executive Director

Prior to coming to Boalt, Terrence Galligan served as Program Coordinator at the Office of Public Interest Advising at the Harvard Law School. From 1994-98, he was a litigation partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis. While in private practice, he did extensive pro bono work for groups such as the Conservation Law Foundation and Children's Rights, Inc. He also helped organize a group of business leaders to provide support, mentoring and summer jobs for students at a public high school in mid-town Manhattan. In 1998, he served as Associate Independent Counsel in the Whitewater and related investigations, focusing on appellate work in the D.C. Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a 1988 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, where he participated in the founding of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.

Marsha Rabkin
Associate Director for Private Sector Counseling and Programs

Marsha is a graduate of Hastings College of the Law. She worked as Senior Counsel at Bank of America for 8 years where she specialized in legislation, commercial and consumer banking and international financing. Marsha also worked at Wells Fargo and was General Counsel for American Asian Bank in San Francisco for 5 years until their merger with Security Pacific Bank. She has also served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers in San Francisco and is a trained mediator. Marsha joined Boalt in April 2000. She has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and has actively volunteered in the California public school system.

Sarah Cunniff
Associate Director for Private Sector Counseling and Programs

Sarah Cunniff has extensive private sector experience in a variety of practice settings. Most recently, she served as an intellectual property associate at a 32 person San Francisco law firm, Steinhart & Falconer (which has since merged with DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary). Prior to that, she served as an in-house attorney at Levi-Strauss & Co. Sarah began her legal career at the national law firm of Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, working in both the litigation and corporate departments. After leaving Heller, she worked as a contract attorney in a variety of positions. She is a 1987 graduate of Hastings College of the Law.

Linda Maranzana
Associate Director for Public Interest/Public Sector Programs

Linda Maranzana is a graduate of Boalt Hall (‘02). Prior to joining the CDO, Linda worked as a staff attorney and clinical supervisor the East Bay Community Law Center , where she practiced in the HIV/Health Unit and the Housing Unit.  Linda also has experience working as an associate at a public interest law firm representing low-income tenants in discrimination and habitability actions.  While she was a student here at Boalt, Linda was an active participant in the International Human Rights Clinic and completed the Environmental Law Certificate.

Eric J. Stern
Associate Director

Before re-locating to California , Stern was a Senior Career Counselor at The George Washington University School of Law. Stern arrived at GW after serving as the Executive Director of National Stonewall Democrats, the national organization representing LGBT Democrats. Before joining Stonewall, he was appointed as the Director of GLBT Outreach for the Democratic National Committee, where he developed a national grassroots infrastructure for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. He received his law degree from the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston . While in law school, he interned for the U.S. Department of Justice - Civil Rights Division, Employment Litigation Section; the Whitman-Walker Clinic; the Children's Law Center, Inc.; and the Human Rights Campaign. After law school, he was awarded a Dorot Law Fellowship at the Alliance for Justice.

Marty Grenhart
Recruitment Manager

Marty is a longtime member of the Cal community. She began her career in the University Relations Office 18 years ago in an entry-level position and progressed to a supervisory role as a Programmer Analyst in the Information Systems Unit. In her current role, she will manage legal recruiting programs, including coordination of the fall and spring on-campus interview programs. Marty is originally from the east coast and received her BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Mason Louie
Database Administrator

Mason studied history and chemistry as a Computer Science major at UC Berkeley. Prior to joining the Career Development Office, he worked as a system administrator and a software consultant at various firms and organizations throughout the East Bay. Currently he manages most of the electronic resources of the office, as well as assisting in the development and deployment of new systems.

Dianna Carter
Career Resources Administrator

Dianna Carter joined the Career Development staff as the Career Resource Administrator in January 2005. Dianna is a May 2004 graduate of UC Berkeley and comes to the office having several years of student services experience working in the main campus Financial Aid Office.
