Bill Fernholz received his J.D. from Boalt Hall, where he served as senior executive editor of the California Law Review during his third year. He practiced plaintiff-side poverty and civil rights law for seven years as a staff attorney for California Indian Legal Services and as an associate at Rosen, Bien & Asaro. Fernholz joined the law school faculty in 2000.
