Clinic Team

The Samuelson Clinic Team at UC Berkeley’s School of Law includes a network of students, researchers, attorneys, scientists and technologists who engage in interdisciplinary research, advocacy and scholarship. Working with policy makers, thought-leaders and activists, we provide the research and policy advice to help further the public interest in critical technology issues.

The Samuelson Clinic Team is situated at UC Berkeley, one of the world’s most preeminent research universities, and the world’s leading public university. An astounding 97% of UC Berkeley’s graduate programs rank in the top ten in the US according to the National Research Council. This allows Samuelson Clinic Team members to engage with the best science and technology visionaries – right here on campus — in creative multidisciplinary research initiatives designed to address global challenges.

In each of their areas of expertise, our team members engage important problems by working collaboratively across multiple disciplines, policy domains and methodologies. This approach has proven to be an effective way of combining problem-solving research and student education – bridging the world of scholarly ideas and the world of public policy — and in so doing, training the next generation of lawyers, public policy makers, scientists and technologists poised to work at the intersection of these important fields.
