Requesting Materials
- Fill out a call-slip with the call number, title, author (if applicable) and any other information required for locating the item and hand your request to the staff at the Reference Desk.
- It takes approximately five to ten minutes to retrieve materials that are kept in the reading room, longer if the materials are stored elsewhere in the building.
- Return material to the reference desk when you are finished. Please ask desk staff for help with oversize material, or if you need assistance in any way.
- If you would like to consult the same item(s) over a period of time, you can request that a hold shelf be set up for you. Please consult the reference desk about holding materials.
