Biography:

After practicing law for five years as a general commercial litigator, I have returned to school for a life of scholarship. My academic work focuses on socio-legal issues and I have a range of criminal and civil interests. I have published articles on a variety of issues, ranging from consumer protection, social welfare insurance, health insurance, mental health courts, and issues relating to criminal procedure and process. My dissertation focuses on how public legal rights are privatized by organizations in the consumer protection context.
