Biography:Stephen focuses on philosophical issues in professional responsibility, tort law, criminal law, and contracts. He comes to Berkeley from Washington, D.C., where he practiced law for about five years. Stephen's dissertation, "A Liberal Theory of Reparation," analyzes reparation as a philosophical, political, and legal concept.
